    By rail:
    The nearest rail station is Kidsgrove
    the 20 or 20A bus from Kidsgrove towards the City Centre will then take you to Goldenhill after just a few stops (get off near to the -closed- Red Lion Pub). Walk down Heathside Lane. Be careful of unexpected traffic if you walk down Broadfield Road (which is a country lane) - there is also a footpath across the field to reach Aubrey Street.

    From Stoke-on-Trent rail station first take the train to Kidsgrove station then a bus or taxi.
    (A taxi to Aubrey Street from Kidsgrove rail station is approx. £5)
    (A taxi to Aubrey Street from Stoke-on-Trent rail station is approx. £10)

    By bus:
    From Hanley/ City Centre bus station take the 20/ 20a bus towards Kidsgrove.
    The nearest bus stop is serviced by 20 and 20A towards Kidsgrove, getting off after the shops (including Goldenhill Oatcakes and Co-Op on the left) and just before The Red Lion pub (ahead on the left -pub now closed down).
    Then walk left down Heathside Lane and on an adventurous day walk diagonally  "\  up across the field towards the house (otherwise follow the road around the edge of the field).

    Be careful of unexpected traffic if you walk up Broadfield Road (which is a country lane) - there is also a footpath across the field to reach Aubrey Street.

    By road:
    A500 towards Stoke-on-Trent City Centre
    from Hanley / Stoke-on-Trent City Centre - take the A50 towards Tunstall
    stay on the A50 towards Kidsgrove (from the Tunstall direction)
    turning off at The Red Lion pub (ahead on the left -pub now closed down-) drive down Heathside Lane
    turn right on to Broadfield Rd. for a short distance
    then turn right on to Aubrey Street by "The Cushion" pub.
